–I
1.BASICS OF FASHION
The objective of the subject is to provide students with a comprehensive
introduction to the fashion industry, its history, its key players, and its
various segments. This subject aims to give students a foundational knowledge
of fashion, from design and production to marketing and sales.
2. ILLUSTRATION AND MODEL DRAWING
The objective of the subject is to understand the basics of fashion
illustration and model drawing techniques and develop skills to illustrate
various types of garments, fabrics, and accessories.
3.ELEMENTS OF TEXTILES AND EMBROIDERIES
The subject aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding
of the fundamental concepts, techniques, and applications of textile design and
embroidery. The subject aims to teach students about the various types of
textiles, including their characteristics, properties, and applications.

4.GARMENT CONSTRUCTION AND DRAFTING -I
The subject aims to teach the students about the fundamentals of garment
construction and drafting techniques and to provide students with an
understanding of pattern making principles and how to interpret and create
pattern blocks.
SEM –II
1.FASHION ILLUSTRATION & ITS APPLICATION
The objective of this subject is to create a visual representation of a
fashion concept or design.
Project – Styling and Presentation
2.TEXTILE STUDY APPLICABLE TO FASHION ART
Through this course, students will learn about different types of
fibers, yarns, fabrics, and surface design techniques, as well as how to
manipulate and combine them to create different textures, patterns, and
finishes.
3.FASHION DESIGN STUDIO
Through this course, students may learn how to create design sketches,
select fabrics and materials, create patterns, construct prototypes, and refine
their designs.
4.GARMENT CONSTRUCTION AND DRAFTING
The objective of the subject is to teach students advanced techniques in
constructing and drafting women’s wear garments. This subject builds the basic
concepts and skills required in Garment Construction and Drafting and focuses
on more complex garment designs and construction methods.
